Nicole D. Stokes has over twelve years’ experience in the profession of human resources management.

Mrs. Stokes has held several human resources management positions in long-term care, human services and the education industries. Prior to joining Plymouth Educational Center, Mrs. Stokes served in human resources for five years at Lutheran Social Services of Michigan (LSSM), the 5th largest not-for-profit social service agency in Michigan. While at LSSM, Mrs. Stokes was credited for her outstanding leadership in developing & implementing a web-based employee safety & wellness program. In addition, Mrs. Stokes received commendations from senior management for her leadership, work, and commitment to the agency's continuous quality improvement initiatives. In her current role as Human Resources Director, Mrs. Stokes partners with and provides leadership, strategy and support to the PEC Administrative team and staff. In addition, Mrs. Stokes is responsible for management and coordination of HR practices, policies and procedures, employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, recruitment, and performance management.

Mrs. Stokes and her husband have been married for 17 years and have one daughter. Mrs. Stokes faithfully serves in several leadership capacities within her church ministry.
